Hi, I’m Amy!

Born and raised in the Pennsylvania Wilds, I moved to Philadelphia to pursue Bachelor’s degrees in linguistics and Spanish.

After college, I landed a job in linguistics where I specialized in onomastics — a fancy word for “the study of names”. This job not only allowed me to research names (a childhood dream!), it was also my first product design role, introducing me to the wonderful world of design.

I eventually transitioned into real estate where I developed skills in sales, negotiation, and client relations. Perhaps the most valuable skill that real estate taught me was how to lead with empathy. However thrilling the real estate industry is, I never stopped thinking about product design.

My career path is uniquely primed for experience design. I understand business and sales objectives while having an innate passion for all things design. In life and business, we are constantly navigating challenges and constraints. And it’s within constraints where my creativity blossoms.

Off the clock, I’m probably hunting for my next secondhand find, dancing, photographing, and hanging out with my husband and our three cats.
